Hide Your Women and Children: ZAAZ is coming to a town near you

I’m excited at ZAAZ’s jump into the world of blogging, and with that I’m throwing my hat into the ring with my first post which will most probably go down in history as the beginning of a force, dare I say movement, that could not be stopped.
I run the Analytics team here at ZAAZ, and it’s easily the best job in the whole place. I get to work with great people, chart our course for the future, and make sure our clients are happy and being pushed to think about analytics in different ways.
I thought I’d start off with a schedule of things that we’ve got coming up. We just got back from the Omniture Summit (see Carmel’s outstanding summary here), and have a few more fun events coming up over the next few months.
eMetrics Toronto March 31st – April 3rd): Jason Burby and I will be up in the Great White North to see all our good friends and throw down some knowledge. Jason will be moderating a panel on Measuring Awareness, Brand & Competitive Standing, and will be speaking on the Marketing Optimization track on “Online Budgeting and Revenue Forecasting.” Sexy, I know – but dont' worry, we always find a way to make our speaking engagements fun and interesting, so please stop by and hear what we have to say. I'm missing the Mariners opening day for this one so please, throw us a bone and stop by and say hi.
eMetrics Munich (April 8th – 9th): Iris Laband, one of our Sr Analytics Managers that we have building out our Germany office, will be giving our first ever ZAAZ Monetization presentation in German. How cool is that?
eMetrics San Francisco (May 4th – 7th): Jason Burby and Jason Carmel will be speaking on Monetization – a topic that always gets a great reception. In fact, our talk at this year’s Omniture Summit was so well-attended that it forced the entire audience to move to one of the gigantic ballrooms to accommodate the crowd. We have other sessions on Social Media, Widgets, Optimization/Usability, and Creating an Optimization Culture by ZAAZ folks (including Nigel Morgan and Judith Pascual.) Damn – we’re all over this eMetrics stuff!
Based on the current trend of conferences, the continued growth of our group, great new brands we are working with, and the new offices we have popping up across the country/globe, I will throw down my one prediction for 2008: I will make Alaska Airlines MVP Gold status (50,000 miles) by the end of May. That’s right, I make bold, industry-shaking predictions...look out blogosphere!
